Tastings that come to you
From intimate at-home experiences to fully personalized pairings,
I design every detail around what moves you
A privately designed exploration of Guanajuato’s evolving wine region — where territory, vision, and contemporary expression converge. Inside an intimate wine cellar in the heart of the historical center of San Miguel de Allende.
Through a selection of local wines chosen for what each reveals, the experience examines how a region defines itself: not only through landscape, but through the conviction, decisions, and philosophy of those who cultivate and vinify it.
Each glass becomes a lens — revealing the character of a place still in formation, and the dialogue between tradition and emergence.
This is not a tasting focused on flavor notes alone.
It is a guided reading of regional identity.
A tasting of landscape, intention, and becoming.
Approximate duration: 1.5 hours
Schedule: Daily every hour from 1pm to 5pm
Custom tastings and food pairings are available upon request
Location: San Miguel de Allende’s Historic Center
$1,310 MXN per person
Private tastings may be held within the cellar for a more intimate setting, or extended into wine-pairing menus I design in collaboration with the restaurant for a seamless private dining experience.

We really enjoyed our tour and evening with our guide Julieta! Her knowledge of the history of San Miguel de Allende and the great food she introduced us to made for a great evening. One of the beautiful rooftop restaurants she brought us to, she introduced us to some of the local wine along with the food. I was blown away by the quality of the wine from the region along with the food and Julieta’s passion. Please consider booking a tour with Julieta’s company (Mexican Terroir).

I was a little hesitant with the price and didn’t end up booking this until the back end of our trip, which was a mistake.
This experience went above my expectations. It was just the two of us so we had a few options in terms of tastings and went with 3 tequilas and 3 mezcals. We got the production cycles of each with pictures, flavor profiles, how to taste, history of the spirit. Really educational & fun. Julieta is the perfect host and really put in effort to make this experience whole.

I loved learning about the history and process of making Mexican spirits! Julieta let me pick between three different tastings, and I chose the six varietals. She had a slideshow to follow along and brochures to help as well. And the food I got to try at San Mezcal was great. Julieta really knew her stuff — would definitely recommend this to anyone I know visiting San Miguel.
